印度2008-2009皮革出口增长率持续增长

     与2007-2008头7个月印度皮革出口的 18.2 ％相比较，2008-2009的头7个月中印度皮革出口增长放缓至13.8 ％ 。
    
     但根据海关数据，皮革和皮具出口二十二点亿美元与去年同期的19亿美元略有增长。尽管鞋类出口增长率下降但马具的出口增长率增高，就在所有产品目录中皮革产品的增长是显而易见的。     
     
      欧盟、美国和香港继续成为地为印度皮革与皮具出口的主要出口目的的。

       Indian leather export growth slowed to 13.8% in the first seven months of 2008-09 compared with the 18.2% reported between April 2007 and October 2008.

       According to customs data, leather and leathergoods exports were $2.2 billion during the period compared with $1.9 billion in the corresponding period last year. Growth was seen across all product categories, although growth in saddlery and harness exports and footwear exports has declined slightly.

       The EU countries, the US and Hong Kong continue to be the main export destination for Indian leather and leathergoods exports.
